PLEASE Consider Supporting CBO

Please consider supporting Comic Bits Online because it is a very rare thing in these days of company mouthpiece blogs that are only interested in selling publicity to you. With support CBO can continue its work to bring you real comics news and expand to produce the video content for this site. Money from sales of Black Tower Comics & Books helps so please consider checking out the online store.
Thank You

Thousands Vanish! Where Are They?

Before I did all the recent postings of many hundreds of images and many many thousand of words (I stopped checking when it got to over 100,000 words) CBO was getting daily views of between 2,000-5,000.

I decide to go out on a big bang because you are not going to find post like this elsewhere.

Okay, you are waiting to find out just how many extra views CBO is getting, right?

Zero.  I am not kidding.  In fact, the number of CBO views has decreased dramatically. Since the first mega post (the Avengers one) CBO is struggling to make 700 views a day.

Does that make any sense?  Oh, the number of moaning comments (most deleted) rose by 100%.  But I checked blog settings, audience distribution -everything.  There appears to be no logical reason for a sudden and massive drop in views.

Look at this -

All the same as usual but thousands have vanished.  I thought it might be a New Year and back to work but it is now the 16th January.  Bloggers tend not to talk to one another so problems rarely get announced.

Web tools shows everything is fine and since I do not earn a penny from any of this I'm not worried.  Millions of people have visited since 2011 so they know where CBO is!

Just part of blogging which I am happy to say that I am now encouraged to back away from.

Also,my notes show that something similar happened twice before when the number of views screwed up figures on this blog -it turned out on those occasions that views had increased by a few thousand and Blogger stats could not cope.

Hey-ho!
